Hello, all. Samantha here again. I'd like to ask you to answer a few questions about this group, if I could take just a minute of your time.
Since this group isn't a "supergroup," we aren't allowed to create polls or track them, and I don't have a premium account myself, or I'd direct you there to take advantage of that. I'd just like to know the rundown of the group status.
1. How satisfied are you with the content of this group? Organization, leadership, post quality, submission rate, etc. You can simply rate it 1-10, or you can elaborate.
2. What would you like to see done? Obviously you can't rate this one, but give me ideas or just ghosts of ideas that can be made into full ones with a little petting.
3. How often do you visit this group? Once a week? Once a month? ...not even that often?
Thank you! I look forward to your comments.

Well, that worked splendidly.
Howdy, folks!
If this group hasn't seemed to be doing much in the last month or so, then you're observant-- it hasn't. I'm doing everything I can to stay on top of things but unfortunately I'm only able to access the internet through my Palm. My laptop gave up the ghost right about the same time deviations stopped posting from the group. Ha, interesting correlation.
The thing is, I can use the computers they provide at school, and also my room mate told me that I might be able to rent a laptop for classes. I will investigate this magic bright and early tomorrow, and not just because I have term papers, but because I've let you down as a comm
Prompt 1
I've seen that there's a lot of interest in prompts issued every week or so. If that's the case for you, then consider this your first prompt and take it any way you like it. I look forward to seeing results!
Jayne: "Boy, it sure would be nice if we had some grenades, don't you think?"
Also, there is a contest in the works. Thanks to those who've volunteered requests and dA points already! If you would like to help contribute, then let me know.

Thank you kindly, all of you.
From the general consensus here, I can see (with some joy on my part) that the group is at least fairly well-regarded, and that if we ran some contests, that would be well-received.
The thing about running contests is that there are usually prizes in order, and I feel that my artistic skills would not be enough to offer a good incentive for participation. If you'd like to volunteer to help me set one up with your artwork as a prize of some kind, then that would be shiny. If not, I understand.
I also saw artistic prompts would be helpful for some. I can start posting weekly prompts as journal entries, but I also know that prompts can get anno

A contest would be awsome. It's a good way to make people feel more involved and get the creativity flowing. Wew are a community of artists/art appreciaters, after all!
